We have developed an industry first IP Rated Heavy Duty Piezo Switch which has an Australian designed & manufactured interface to operate trailer or truck mounted work lights, beacons or any other electrical device that is used on a trailer or Truck body.
The Charge plus  Piezo Switch with interface have been designed to have low standby power consumption so it can be used on both battery power or park light power ( its 12v / 24v / Reduced 24v electronics design).
The Interface module is in an Aluminium housing and is Silicone encapsulated for durability.

The Piezo switch with interface has the following features:

1. 19mm or 22mm illuminated piezo switch which can be supplied mounted on a Stainless-steel mounting plate as pictured right.

Switch Illumination is Green as standard but other colours available as special order in volume.

The other colours that are currently available are Red, Yellow, Blue & White.

Custom Stainless steel mounting plates to accommodate multiple switches can be designed to customer requirements.

2. Designed to operate any powered accessory (up to 5 amps resistive load at 30v DC) as an ON/OFF (latched operation), mounted to a heavy vehicle trailer. I.E. Press to turn ON, press again to turn OFF.
   Work lights, beacons, pumps etc. NOTE: A higher current model is available in volume, special order.

3. Has pass through mode so work lights can also be used a Reverse lights.

4. The switch has no moving parts, and it is Stainless-steel and sealed to IP68 with a Ring light and it uses piezo electric switch technology.

5. Switch will glow at night when voltage is applied so it’s easier for the operator to find the switch. Lights up bright when output is turned on.

6. Low standby current (under 2ma) when in standby so it can be used for battery powered and park light powered lights or devices

7. The Interface Module is fitted with Industry standard DT series connectors.

8. The interface resets to the off position when power is removed and re powered making it ideal for trailer mounted work lights ensuring they cannot be accidentally left on.

9. Interface module Can be used with 2 piezo switches to make it easier for the operator to turn on and off the devices being used from different locations.

10. Interface module is potted in UL94-V0 fire resistant silicone. Giving the electronics fire resistance and good water resistance. Silicone potting compound has cured properties temperature range of - 65 ° C to 200 ° C. Making it extremely durable for Australian conditions. This potting material is also designed to reduce the vibration stress on electronics and aid will withstanding high and low temperature impact and moisture.

NOTE: This unit is an Electronic Switch not a Voltage reducer so devices connected to its output must be capable of operating form the connected power source.
